The castles of Methoni and Koroni were once known as the occhi della Repubblica, the eyes of the Venetian Republic watching over the Ionian Sea.
In September 2026, TWIN EYES transforms that image into a contemporary cultural encounter across Pylos, Methoni and Finikounda.

Outside Neokastro
The lyric eye
On the platform outside Neokastro, with the sea opening below, lyric artists perform beloved arias and canzonettas at sunset, accompanied by an orchestral ensemble.

Methoni Castle
The visionary eye
Inside Methoni Castle, near the arched bridge, a circular stage hosts live performances of iconic film scores. Ancient walls become a cinematic surface through projection mapping, light design and a grand visual finale.

The vibrant eye
The musicians come together in a vivid farewell encounter: a one-of-a-kind jam session, intimate, warm, and alive.
